CapSource Financial conducts its U.S. operations through its subsidiary
CapSource Equipment Company (dba Prime
Time Trailers). Prime Time buys and sells new and used trailers,
offers parts and service and provides customer financing through a third
party, Navistar Financial.
Prime Time's main
offices are in Fontana, California just off I-10, the center for trucking
in the Los Angeles area. I-10 is the primary transportation corridor
between Los Angeles and the major U.S. markets. The ports of Los Angeles
and Long Beach are among the busiest in the world as they are the centers
for U.S./Pacific Rim trade.
Prime Time expects
to open a Northern California facility in the near future. This facility
will be located so as to serve the trucking industry's needs in the
San Francisco-Oakland Area, home to additional port facilities serving
the Pacific Rim trade, as well as California's Central Valley, the most
productive agricultural region in the world.
Prime Time is the
Hyundai distributor for California and was Hyundai's largest trailer
dealer (based on unit numbers) in 2005. In 2006, CapSource executed
a separate dealer agreement with Hyundai giving CapSource the dealership
rights for Texas. Prime Time is currently in the process of applying
for its Texas dealership license and opening facilities in that state.
The primary transportation corridor for trade with Mexico runs through
Texas. Prime Time will open its first facility in the Dallas-Fort Worth
area, followed by facilities in Laredo and Houston.
Prime Time plans
to become the largest non-manufacturer-owned full-service trailer dealer in North America.
