Capsource Chairman Meets Mexico's President

CapSource Financial, Inc.
Chairman, Randolph Pentel (above left), greets Mexican President
Vicente Fox (above right) during a private reception for the Mexican
President on June 18,2004, hosted at the Governor's Mansion by
Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty. President Fox came to Minnesota
to discuss trade relations between the state and Mexico, and to
advocate for greater protections for the approximate 85,000 Mexican
immigrants living in Minnesota.
Mexico is one of Minnesota's
most important trading partners. According to Governor Pawlenty,
"Our exports to our southern neighbors have increased 80
percent in just seven years. Mexico, in turn, sells everything
from manufactured goods and oil to agricultural commodities."
At a dinner honoring President
Fox, Governor Pawlenty stated, "As we move into the second
decade of NAFTA, we'll do even more to cultivate business relationships
that are of mutual benefit. President Fox, we applaud your efforts
to strengthen Mexico's economy and create new markets around the
world. You are giving hope to many who are seeking a better life
in the 21st century. Mr. President, Minnesota admires your compassion,
your vision and your leadership. We wish your nation prosperity-and
we wish you strength and wisdom as you guide it down that path."
